Concert Band Camp will run from 8:30am-12:00n, July 22nd-25th, and will feature rehearsals, sectionals, and a variety of fun activities! Concert Band Camp is for students entering 5th through 9th grades in the fall of 2024 who have played traditional band instruments (woodwinds/brass/percussion) for at least one year.
Students will need to supply their own instrument and accessories (mallets/sticks for percussion); storage for large instruments and a limited number of full-sized loaner instruments are available upon request. The camp is led by Highland Middle School Band Director Carla Bollinger, Rondout School Music Teacher Anna Ausmann, and Oak Grove School Band Director Rick Frankowski.
Students attending Concert Band Camp may also attend Choir Camp in the afternoons for an additional $60 tuition; please note that supervision will NOT be available on campus during the lunch break; students should plan for an off-campus lunch.
