GRADES: 10, 11, 12 CREDIT: 0.5 / Semester 1 or 2 FEES: In District/$200.00; Out of District/$275.00 NOTE: Computer Science Honors will only run during 1st semester. There will be no 2nd semester option for this class. Computer Science Honors (Python) is a course for students with little or no prior programming experience. This one-semester course teaches computational concepts and basic programming techniques. Students will develop confidence in their ability to apply computational practices to problems in a broad range of fields. This course uses the Python programming language in conjunction with various tools designed to optimize student learning and engagement. The student will receive a firm foundation of computer programming concepts needed to take an Advanced Placement Computer Science course. PREREQUISITE: Geometry and completion of one year in high school
